Senior Project 2013

Nicole and Nicholas both has a to do a Senior Project in their English 4 class.  Of course they didn't have English until second semester.  Rumor had it, if you took it first semester and failed you had a 2nd chance 2nd semester.   No worries though, the twins did great!!  Nicole taught a class at Asbury Ark on Wednesdays and Thursdays to the after-school kids.  At first she was nervous about doing it, that being her stretch...teaching.  But once she started teaching the kids loved her and were always asking, "Is Ms Nicole coming today?"   Mrs. Boydstun the Art teacher at Greenacres was her mentor.  Nicole loves Mrs. Boydstun and she was her art teacher in middle school.

Nicole did a display of the kids work and then put it up at Asbury so the kids and parents could see it.

Nicholas did his Senior Project building a website for Asbury Ark.  You can view it at www.asburyark.com.  His mentor was Mrs Hawkins.  She is the Computer Tech person at Greenacres.

Nicholas had to meet with Mrs. Hawkins 5x too.   This is where he is showing her what he has done and she is giving him some ideas.

This is the twins ready for presentation day of their projects.  They had to do an 8 minute speech...yes 8 minutes no more no less.   Nicole said she thought she lost about 3 years of her life worry about that that day.  It was stressful but boy were they glad when it was over.
