My friend Michelle from church that has 22 people at her house from Houma LA., called and asked me about the weather and asked me if Todd ever stays home. She said they all have been watching him all day today and appreciates what he does. They have been wondering about their homes down south. Unfortunately it looks like her parents and couple of aunts homes have 11ft of water in them. She said she is so emotionally stressed. Her husband is in Iraq, so I feel so bad for her. I offered whatever they needed but they have more food than they know what to do with and sleeping cots and all. I guess just prayers for her and her family. Back to Todd, he did get to come home for a short nap... but it was back to work. I am hoping he gets to come home for supper, but he wasn't sure.
Todd just said on the news that we could see rain through Wed evening. But not as much rain as they thought, which is good. We should see some high gusts of wind though over night tonight.
